Saturday Activities
8:00am – Bouja Family Golf Tournament in Kimball, MN. If you’re not golfing, you can always just be part of the audience at the Clubhouse, sit and visit, serve and greet the golfers as they come through. All levels of experience welcomed to play.
6:30pm – Corn Boil at Pleasant Lake. Bring your own Bologna! Beverages, corn, bread, pop, and beer will be provided. All we ask is for a small donation. Stick around for a campfire, song, and dance… into the night!
Thanks to Dan & Sue for coordinating Bouja, and thanks to Ernie & Arlene, Wayne & Bonnie, and Mike & Rachel for giving of your homes, and hosting such a wonderful event!
Reminder: The Bouja Raffle Tickets will be for sale from Noon to 5:00pm. This helps pay for the Bouja weekend!
Sunday Activities
9:00am – Come early on Sunday! Things start cooking (believe it or not) around 9am. Bring your favorite “vegetable cutting knife” and/or peeler. Those who help, will be served breakfast, and/or a light lunch. We’ll be chopping up celery, carrots, cabbage, potatoes, onions, beef, pork, chicken, and more!
Stir, Stir, Stir… throughout the day- Do you have a competitive side? There’ll be plenty for you to do while the Bouja is simmering… cribbage, horseshoes, volleyball, bags, etc. Start practicing up now! If you lose, you stir Bouja!
The Raffle – a raffle will be held mid-afternoon to support this big event, and for those families that would like to, you can donate a family gift, craft, basket, or something personal. Do not feel obligated to donate, but if a family member has a special talent that they can share, we’d love to see it!
Beverages Available – Beer and Pop will be provided the entire day. Just please remember to bring some cash to make a donation to the Bouja fund.
5:00pm – Dinner will be served around 5pm! Mmmmmm… yummy Bouja! Be sure to bring your favorite dessert to contribute to the meal! You might also want to bring a lawn chair.
